After a word service in the church, our new first graders were welcomed with a colorful program in the gym.
Ms. Göbel-Kohtz greeted the new students and welcomed them on behalf of the entire school community.
Class 2 then started the program. They danced the kangaroo dance to match the new kangaroo class. Afterwards, the children of class 3a, who are also the godparents of the new first graders, gave them good wishes in the form of a song and presented them with mementos of their first day at school. Class 4a then sang a funny song to welcome us. Finally, class 4b performed a cup song to mark the start of school.
After the enrolment program, the new first graders went to their classroom together with their godparents and their class teacher Mrs. Eiden. Her first lesson took place there.
We wish all first-year kangaroo pupils a good start at our school!
