Hand in hand into a shared future

Our school is as diverse as our world and a learning and living space for children with different strengths, talents and cultural backgrounds. This diversity enriches everyday school life at St. Katharina Primary School in Heinsberg.

We are there for each other , learn from each other, together and individually.

Together for us means that the sense of togetherness at St. Katharina Primary School is strengthened beyond the classroom through festivals, joint projects and hiking days.

For each other for us means that our helper systems promote the social commitment of the students and help them to support and be there for each other.

From each other for us means that we see the diversity and heterogeneity of the pupils as an opportunity.

Individual for us means that the children are supported based on their individual requirements.

Collaborative learning is based in particular on:
  • respectful interaction between teachers, pupils and parents
  • the promotion of social skills

Our aim is for all pupils, teachers and parents to see themselves as an important part of the school community and to contribute their individual abilities, skills and expertise responsibly and willingly.
