Class trip for grades 4a and 4b

On June 4, our fourth graders went on a class trip to Meschende Eversberg.

They spent three great days there at the Matthias Claudius Haus.

After arriving, we first had lunch. Then it was time to check into the rooms. The rope team program then began. Great games were played in the forest, where the classes had to prove that they had grown together as a team over the four years and were able to work together. It wasn’t always easy, but our fourth graders mastered the challenges brilliantly.

After dinner, there was bread on a stick by the open fire.

After everyone had had a good breakfast the next day, we went outside again. There were team games in the forest and we went to the 9-meter-high climbing tower. Afterwards, we climbed over a very wobbly suspension bridge to a platform in the tree. From there they went down again on the zip wire. The fourth-graders showed their courage and some of them surpassed themselves.

The evening concluded with a disco and the election of Mr. and Miss Meschede 2025.

The next morning, the rooms had to be cleared before breakfast and then it was time to say goodbye again.

It was a great end to the primary school years!
