Day of action against bullying

On Saturday, February 15, 2025, a special day of action on the topic of “Anti-Bullying” took place at our school. The aim of the day was to raise awareness of respectful interaction and how to deal with bullying at school.

The morning began with exciting presentations in which the children in Years 1 and 2 and Years 3 and 4 each watched a presentation on the topic of “bullying” that had been prepared for their age group. While the pupils in Years 3 and 4 watched the presentation, Years 1 and 2 worked on materials specially developed by the teachers on this topic. Afterwards, the groups swapped.

After the presentations and group work, cooperative games were played in small groups of mixed age groups. These playful activities promoted cooperation and strengthened the children’s team spirit. The day of action ended with a symbolic highlight: all the children gathered in the schoolyard and formed a large heart to take a photo together. This picture stands for cohesion and everyone’s commitment to speaking out against bullying.

The day of action was a complete success and was not only a lot of fun for the children, but also taught them important values for respectful and friendly cooperation.
