Last day of school

On the last day of school before the summer vacations, the atmosphere at St. Katharina Primary School was particularly festive and joyful. Pupils in Years 1 to 3 first gathered in their respective classrooms to receive their certificates. There was a mixture of excitement and relief when the certificates were handed out and many children were beaming with pride at their achievements.

There was a special surprise after the certificate ceremony: an ice cream van came to the schoolyard and every child was allowed to enjoy a scoop of ice cream. Many thanks at this point to the sponsoring association.

Afterwards, the award ceremony for the European Championship betting game took place in the schoolyard. All pupils had submitted their predictions during the European Championships and now the best tipsters were awarded prizes. The first five places from each class each received a prize, which was met with great enthusiasm. The award ceremony was accompanied by much applause and cheering from everyone.

The grand finale of the day was the report disco, which also took place in the schoolyard. After the classes had said goodbye to each other in their rooms, everyone flocked to the disco. The music made the children dance and laugh. It was a successful end to an eventful school year.
