“What a lovely party!” Parents, children and staff all agreed. Although the spring-like weather did not materialize, this did not dampen the mood.
On the day before the spring festival, the school building and the break hall were decorated together. The classroom of grade 4 was transformed into a salesroom. Many handicrafts that the children had created for the Easter bazaar were on sale there. A raffle was also organized, with attractive prizes donated by Sparkasse, Volksbank and several businesses. We would like to express our sincere thanks for this.
Many parents, grandparents and former pupils accepted the invitation and enjoyed a cozy get-together with coffee and cake in the OGS café or in the break hall with a sausage in a roll.
After a welcoming dance by the pupils and an impressive performance by Micha, the small-scale artist dressed as a colorful flower, who enchanted the audience, the children spread out in the classrooms. They found a wide range of activities on offer: Shaping stones, making window pictures with window colors, tying friendship bracelets, mastering a nonsense Olympics and much more. There was also an exercise program in the sports hall and a workshop with Micha.
Finally, Micha, the cabaret artist, put on a show that got everyone’s money’s worth.
